I made a mistake - Posturr is now Dorso
Dorso - Gentle posture reminders for your Mac
So, I made a mistake. I shared a very early prototype of my posture monitoring app with a close friend of mine. He loved it, and the first thing he responded with was a name for the app: "Posturr"

Without even thinking, I had Claude rename the entire project, repo, everything. Little did I know the posture space is exceptionally crowded. In fact, my idea of an app that watches your posture and reminds you is not novel at all - there's many players in this space. I just happen to have a different take on how to remind.
I later discovered that an app in the iOS store existed ALSO called Posturr. Oh boy was that embarrassing. I felt like a scum bag to intrude on someone else's brand like that. It really is a fun name - so kudos to that person for snatching it up.
Turns out, folks really like my app though, and I want to continue investing time and energy into it. It's awesome knowing I've built a tool that is helping people, but I can't continue with the stolen name, so we have fully rebranded to Dorso. I spent millions of tokens performing market research on a good name for this app that was memorable, relevant, did not have direct competitors in the posture space, and had a domain available for purchase.
Claude, yet again, was an invaluable tool. No, I did not come up with the brand name, but I did curate the requirements around what a good brand name is and had 30 different parallel agents off researching at the same time. They researched in 1 hour what would have taken me literal days to go do. At the end of it I had a list of names to choose from and Dorso was my favorite (funnily enough, it wasn't their favorite - they chose Posturn).
